See this thing.

A rather ugly wrist brace

Early last year (2017), I found myself wearing it day and night, alternating with both hands. I work a job during the day that requires an immense about of typing. I also write and type in the afternoons, which requires lots of heavy stress on my arms and wrists.  I was in a LOT of pain and my wrists would immediately start to hurt when I removed the wrist brace.

However, 6 months ago, I was able to throw it in the back of a drawer. The only thing I did differently,

I developed a love relationship with Turmeric/Curcumin.

A friend of mine had started taking a Turmeric-Curcumin supplement and suggested that I try it.  I had never heard of Turmeric or Curcumin, but I was desperate.

Within a month of using Turmeric/Curcumin, I got rid of my Carpal Tunnel and I noticed a complete and total difference!

Turmeric is a plant and is a member of the ginger family. It’s orange in color, and consequently, many people eat it.  (it will, however, stain your clothes, so be careful if you go that route!)

It’s available in multiple forms like teas, capsules, or this type of pill-

Curcumin is the medicinal ingredient that is derived from turmeric. It is widely known to help with inflammation and even chronic pain!

Many people take curcumin to relieve arthritic symptoms, as well as improve liver functioning and even lower blood sugar, which is promising news for those with diabetes.

Some newer studies have shown that curcumin can even prevent and possibly treat cancer!

My current regiment includes taking this pill daily after my morning smoothie.  (After doing more research and learning that Curcumin is the actual medicinal ingredient, I switched from Whole-Body Turmeric Extra, and started taking this brand LIFE-EXTENSION).

Not all supplements are equal. I did switch to LIFE Extension because they are 3rd party tested. This particular brand is a total curcuminoid complex with Essential Oils of Turmeric (about 380 mg).

On the downside, Turmeric is powerful and is considered a natural blood thinner so if that is a concern for you, you definitely want to speak with your doctor first!

If you are new to supplements, know that they are not FDA regulated so any testing that is done in regards to efficacy, quality, etc… well the companies usually do that themselves. LIFE EXTENSION and several brands, however, do utilize 3rd party testing. In other words, they have “someone from the outside” make sure their product is safe and of good quality.

So now that you know more about curcumin, do you think you will start implementing it into your regiment?
